The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent communication and organization skills, strong attention to detail, some construction knowledge, and a desire to provide excellent service to our customers. 

Our Junior Project Manager position is an entry-level position for candidates looking to enter the construction field. Our Project Managers work closely with and supervise the Junior Project Managers and train them in specific trades including decks, patios, siding, windows & doors, and baths.  This position serves as the beginning point towards becoming a Project Manager at Fletcher Home. 

  • Work closely with and assist the Project Manager in running home improvement projects

  • Visit job sites as needed to check on and report production status

  • Help schedule and coordinate material deliveries, returns, and job site inventory

  • Take and upload photos of job progress

  • Work in CRM and Project Management software, keeping job status information up to date

  • Schedule inspections and pull results as needed

  • Provide status updates via phone, email and/or text to customers as directed

Qualifications: 

  • Fast learner with an interest in residential construction

  • Able to adapt to and juggle multiple priorities

  • Can effectively communicate verbally and in writing

  • Able to lift and carry materials including concrete bags, decking boards, plywood, shingle bundles, etc.

  • Knowledge or experience in the construction industry is a plus!

  • Experience working on a computer or iPad

  • Punctual - able to effectively manage time to ensure deadlines are met and meeting schedules are followed

  • Ability to commute to Fredericksburg, VA

Starting Compensation

  • $35,000 to $52,000/year depending on experience, willing to negotiate for the right person.
  • Paid Time Off: l week PTO+ 3 personal days for the first year of employment
  • Paid Holidays: 10
