Job Description
**Overview**
BroadPath is hiring an Eligibility Representative to work from home! The Eligibility Representative is responsible for maintaining accurate enrollment records based on requests from internal and external stakeholders. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role requiring strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of confidentiality.
_Note: This is not a phone-based position_
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and update enrollment records received electronically to support claim processing and service requests, in line with daily production standards and operational policies
+ Serve as a liaison between internal teams and health plan representatives to resolve eligibility issues and maintain strong working relationships
+ Complete assigned eligibility reports and ensure records are updated accurately and efficiently
+ Perform accurate and timely data entry in EPIC / IDX systems based on established guidelines
+ Process electronic eligibility verification requests from both internal and external sources
+ Follow up with Healthcare Plans via phone to resolve outstanding eligibility concerns
+ Analyze payor eligibility responses to identify and extract required verification information
+ Adhere to HIPAA, compliance, privacy, and confidentiality standards at all times
+ Perform additional enrollment updates and related tasks as assigned
**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 1-year medical claims processing experience required
+ Health plan experience required
+ Medical claims adjudication experience required
**Systems Experience Required:** EPIC experience required
