We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer to join our innovative Platform team. In this role, you will play a key role in building prototypes for new products and features, delivering well-produced features, and quickly iterating and dynamically exploring new ideas. You will also design, develop, and maintain high-quality and scalable front-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Build rapid prototypes for new products and features, bringing creative ideas to life.
- Deliver high-quality features efficiently, balancing excellence with timely delivery, even under pressure.
- Engage in rapid iteration and dynamic exploration of new concepts and technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable solutions across both front-end and back-end systems.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal user experience and system efficiency.
- Assist in the learning and development of the wider team, participate in code reviews, mentor junior colleagues, and improve overall code quality.
- Drive technical innovation, reduce tech debt, and keep our systems at the forefront of technology.
- Write and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including domain experts, to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.
Key Requirements (Must-Haves)- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in a subset of: React, Tailwind, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Fast API, RESTful APIs, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, GCP, Docker, CI/CD, OAuth, microservices, MongoDB, Postgres, DynamoDb, architectural patterns, and unit testing.
- Soft Skills: Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies, strong communication skills, a collaborative team player, open-minded, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)- Proven experience building engaging and responsive front-end applications.
- Experience working with AI/ML technologies.
Success Metrics & Expectations - Code Quality: Adherence to best practices, clean code principles, and design patterns; ensuring code is readable and maintainable; passing peer code reviews with minimal required changes.
- Team Collaboration: Organizing workshops and training sessions; identifying and rectifying pain points within the team; making active efforts to ensure code quality; mentoring junior colleagues; regularly reviewing code and enforcing coding standards; resolving conflicts and providing constructive feedback; thriving in multi-disciplinary teams.
- System Design & Architecture: Designing scalable and performant architectures; ensuring proper documentation.
- Innovation & Impact: Being a driving force in platform development; proposing and implementing new technologies; aligning technical decisions with business goals and user needs; taking proactive ownership of issues.
